WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels are tools used by Web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.

By using these devices, the Web server is allowed to remember certain data about the user, such as their preferences for viewing the pages of that server, username and password, products of most interest to them, etc.

COOKIES SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS AND EXEMPT COOKIES

According to the EU directive, cookies that require informed consent from the user are analytical cookies and advertising and affiliate cookies, while technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user are exempt.

They include personalization cookies, which allow the user to access the service with certain predefined general features based on criteria such as language, browser type, regional configuration, etc.

Analytics cookies: allow the controller to track and analyze user behavior on the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure website, application or platform activity and to create browsing profiles of users in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of usage data.
